Arisaig Highland Games is pleased to announce the 2012 Boisdale Art Prize for young people.

The theme for this year's competition is People, Place and Ceanglas with a few twists! And prize money for 2012 is slightly increased at £305 overall, although there is no adult competition this year.

Full information can be found on the Quick Links on right hand side of the website, and competition guidelines can be found in the Downloads and Feeds section.

If you have any queries, please don't hesitate to get in touch.

Arisaig Games is indebted to Ranald Macdonald, Younger of Clan Ranald for his generous support in sponsoring the annual Boisdale Prize, as well as other support he gives us. And of course we would also like to note our gratitude to Mallaig Art Gallery for their logistical and steward support.

So, if you're in London, try one of the three excellent Boisdale restaurants. Ranald gave us a tour last winter, and it was spectacular. And, if you are in Mallaig, pop into the gallery where you will find a good range of high quality artworks. Some even by artists associated with Arisaig Games!

Here are three of the winners from 2011...

Molly Duncan, 2nd Place, 14-17, Stags Rutting

Caitlin Muir, 1st place, 11-13, Yacht in front of Eigg and Rum

Colin Woods,1st place, 14-17, Clinker boat bow and keel
