How to find us…

The Arisaig Highland Games will be held at Traigh Farm, Arisaig, Inverness-shire.

Traigh Farm is adjacent to the local golf course – around two miles north of the village. Please note that there is no regular transport service from the village to Traigh. The easiest way to make the 2.5 mile journey is by car. Take the A 830 Fort William to Mallaig road, and turn left half a mile north of Arisaig on to the B 8008, the scenic coastal route. There is a sign to the golf course at this junction. Follow the B 8008 north for about one mile until you reach the beaches of Traigh. The Games are held in the field beside the Golf course and car parking is available in the field adjacent to the arena.

Getting to Arisaig by rail:

Arisaig is served by Arisaig railway station on the West Highland Line which connects the village to Mallaig, Fort William & Glasgow.

But for those who prefer to be less metric:

Arisaig lies on the historic ‘Road to the Isles’, also known as the A830 which leads from Fort William to Mallaig. The village is just about 35 miles west of Fort William and 10 miles south of Mallaig.

After reaching Arisaig, continue half a mile north on the A830 before turning left onto the B8008. The B8008 is marked as the alternative coastal route on the road signs.

Follow the road for around a mile until you reach the beaches of Traigh and the Games field.
